These are lessons that I have learned or things that I am learning. It is termed as foundations to reflect the need of basing all of life on Christ and making God the Author and finisher of my faith. It is not the foundations or fundamentals of a denomination or construct of men even me. It is rather, simply the tales told of where the Author has captivated my heart where it rebelled with His Character as Revealed in His Word.
While these have been extremely helpful to reshape my thoughts, beliefs, and life all while fully admitting that I AM FLAWED. I am not saying that every conclusion or compilation I come to is fact--don't listen to me listen to the Word--what I am saying is that by going to a God who is always the same and has Revealed Himself in His Word this is what I see and how it is shaping me. If the Word doesn't match my learning then I emphatically say with all humility that my learning needs adjusting. In all this, the goal is that He would be the protagonist of my Story and His Glory alone is magnified so that my rebel heart captivated by His Glory is used to magnify Him alone.
